[edit] Character description

  • Gender: Male
  • Species: Housecat
  • Fur color: Charcoal gray
  • Eye color: Crimson
  • Height: 5'11"
  • Build: Slightly chubby

The character's outfit consists of three small crimson hoop-earings in the right ear, subsequently getting smaller and smaller as they go toward the right ear. On his muzzlebridge is a pair of black rounded-square-rimmed glasses, which are thick enough to very slightly dull the bright, bizarre color of his eyes.

On his upper-half, he wears a fishnet-style t-shirt with sleeves that end at his wrists. On his hips are a pair of black slacks.

[edit] Gimmicks

[edit] Communism

A running gag perpetuated by Verix is his affiliation with the Communist party. He has also been known to randomly accuse various furries of being "dirty god damn Reds" whenever they pipe up about file-sharing, art thievery or about the state of the American government.

[edit] The anthropomorphic toaster

To both satirize and mock the ideal of Otherkin, Verix will generally make a comment about how he is "an anthropomorphic toaster with a five-foot penis," then proceed to go into detail about how the film The Brave Little Toaster made him realize his soul was the reincarnation of the main character of said movie.

[edit] The paranoid goon

When the furry meme was in full-swing on the Something Awful forums, numerous threads attacked corporations and consumers for being furries for buying simple things, such as childrens books containing somewhat anthropomorphicized animals. Each time this got out of hand, Verix posted a thread entitled The Fur Scare, which attempted the writing style of Vietnam-era anti-Communist speeches and rants, intentionally slanting, spinning and satirizing information on the situation at hand.

These articles were archived and saved on one of Verix's websites, and can be found here and here.

[edit] Rands, Pants, Spigot, and Deuce

Occasionally, when with friends of the same mindset, Verix will go into "JerkCity" mode and speak in the same style of the characters from the comic. An example:

ATTN REDDIE RE: /USR/BIN/DICKS PLEASE MOUNT HDD1 AND MV /USR/BIN/DICKS TO /HOME/MOUTH THIS CONCLUDES YOUR MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII{{NO CARRIER}} ALSO BY HDD1 I MEAN MY ANUS

[edit] I Am The Internet

In his early days of music, he created a solo Internet-released album simply entitled "I Am The Internet," with various phrases such as "torrent plz" on the cover while Verix made a face of disgust. He has since adopted this as a catchphrase.

[edit] Drawing

Verix draws furries, propaganda and political cartoons, the latter of which were intended for his High School newspaper, The Patriot Voice. Sometimes it is a combination of one, another, or all of the above. Examples of this style of artwork can be found on his website, linked below.

[edit] Writing

Verix writes short stories of horror, satire and social and political commentary, ranging from issues outside the furry fandom, on the Internet, and within tightly-knit communities.

The majority of the fiction, however, is unfortunately not easily available online. However, the rest can be found on his political blog, also linked at the bottom of this page.

[edit] Music

Verix uses programs such as Fruity Loops and Reason to create speedcore and breakcore dance music, as well as the rare ambient track. He prides himself in having destroyed infamous supposedly "furry" tracks such as Move Your Dead Bones, and is the creator of the song entitled Supersonic Furry Faggot.

[edit] Personality

Verix is critical, almost to the point of being a pessimist. While he does see good in things from time to time, he is not afraid to constructively and eloquently-- though sometimes uncivilly-- take apart what is nonfunctional. Topics he has gone over involving this include furry McCarthyism, the "lack of responsibility" of the administrators of Fur Affinity, and where to pin the blame on those who attack the furry fandom based on stereotypes.

He has also been known to have a dark and non sequitur sense of humor, as can be reflected in some of his writings and posts in his LiveJournal.

While he claims to withold no political affiliation, he is very slightly lenient toward being conservative if only for the reason of finding many liberals of being "stupid."
