Procyon

Procyon is a furry who lives in Albany, California, U.S.A. In online contexts he sometimes also uses the account name 'procyonid', usually when 'Procyon' is unavailable.
Born August 31, 1982, in Socorro, New Mexico, Procyon has been living in the Berkeley area since 2004, where he has been pursuing a PhD in the astronomy department of the University of California, Berkeley. His fursona is a non-anthropomorphic raccoon.
The name Procyon is a double-meaning, referring both to the bright star Procyon as well as the fact that the scientific name of the raccoon is Procyon lotor.
Procyon helps organize the monthly Berkeley Furmeet.
