Phil Geusz (born 1961) is a furry author, working primarily in the transformation-story sub-genre. He is best known for his work in the The Blind Pig (TBP) storyverse, as well as for his novels Transmutation Now!, Freedom City, Manifest Destiny, Resisting Arrest, Spur, and Corpus Lupus, some of which have been made available in book form. His TBP story Graduation Day appeared in the anthology Best in Show, edited by Fred Patten; he also wrote the introduction to the transformation story section of this collection. His short story Adoption Process appears in the mainstream collection Twisted Cat Tales. In October of 2006, Phil sold his furry novlette A Left-Handed Sword to Amazon.com's short-story program; he also has three non-furry works available there (Cotton Candy, Harvest Rites, and Bear Dance). All are available as downloads direct from Amazon.com. Phil also has numerous other minor publication credits, served as Writing Guest of Honor at Rain Furrest 2007, and has appeared many times on the Ursa Major Recommended Reading List.

Phil's fiction is posted almost exclusively through the Transformation Story Archive Mailing List and its spinoffs, where he has been active since approximately 1996. TSAT has featured Phil's work many times; he also has been writing a column there for many years on the art of writing. Most recently, he has undertaken a new column at Anthro, this one more generally targeted on things furry.

Phil also founded the annual TSA-Bash, a sort of minicon for TSA-ers that has been held annually at various locations across the nation since 1998.

Although Phil does not MUCK, he is known simply as Rabbit on the Anthrochat IRC channel #TheZoo. However, he attends and enjoys many furry-cons in the American midwest and south, as time and budget allow. He can most often be found at Mephit Furmeet, in his home state of Tennessee, which he considers his "home con". Phil is divorced, and works for a major automobile manufacturer.
