Mat Sherer

Mat Sherer (born January 16, 1978) is a Canadian furry artist, who lives in the Vancouver area of British Columbia, Canada. He is probably best known for his furry web comic, Badly Drawn Kitties (also known as BDK), which he states he only does as a hobby.^{[citation needed]} In October 2005, he decided to retool BDK (the site) as a semi-Blog journal, with the comic format switching to a monthly, comic sized version.

Mat Sherer is currently involved with Kat Smith of Floppity.

A former friend of Jay Naylor, they parted ways due to politics. This is relevant as they basically "shared" the characters Fisk and Lucy Black between BDK and Better Days. One of the end results of this matter is that Fisk (a member of the US military in both series) eventually dies while on duty in BDK.
