[edit] History

FurPlanet was founded by Nexxus and was previously the official online store for FurNation Multimedia, but as of 2008 March 1[1] was purchased[2] by FuzzWolf and now operates independently of FurNation.

In 2007, Bad Dog Books partnered with FurPlanet, who now produce the lion's share of BDB's printing needs, both for sale on FurPlanet itself and resale to third-party vendors.

Under this agreement, FurPlanet secured the printing license for Heathen City. The anticipated success of the new graphic novel made it a 'killer product' that justified major investments such as a new dye sublimation printer to enhance the quality of color printing and a new cutting machine to produce card decks in-house, such as those of Heathen City and Wookiee.

Since issue #8, FurPlanet has also been the printer for Sabrina Online, published by United Publications.
